The Women’s Ministry of House of Prayer Church is for women from every walk of life. It is a place of acceptance and love, where you will experience opportunities to grow in your Christian walk, to be encouraged in your relationships and daily living. Most importantly you will discover how to awaken and respond to your responsibility for influencing your home, work, school, community, church and world. Under the leadership of Rosa Perea, this ministry is thriving due to the unique and exciting way that ministry is presented to women. Come join us and be challenged to become the woman God has called you to be! Below are the exciting programs we offer:
THE MIX
At the Mix we like to 'mix it up'. At the Mix Preach-off, the women were challenged to use their gifts to teach and preach the Word of God in their own unique way. The Mix Bake-off is a big hit as women bring their favorite dessert made from scratch for everyone to enjoy. You can always count on having a great time, and hearing a powerfull message that will challenge you to become the woman God has called you to be!
SISTERHOOD GROUPS
Because we understand how important it is for women to receive encouragement, have accountability and develop relationships, our Sisterhood Groups provide an opportunity to connect with women of similar interests. We have groups for mothers with young children, college age girls, business women, the golden girls, and much more. Each month the group leader hosts a fellowship such as a cook-out, shopping, or a movie night, all while taking the time to mentor the women in the area that is specific to the group. The women always have a great time, but most importantly they love growing together.
ANNUAL WEEKEND GETAWAY
Our annual Weekend Getaway is the event that women anticipate all year long. Every year the getaway is held in a different location which assures breath-taking beauty, enjoyment and relaxation. The getaway provides women the opportunity to take a break from their responsibilities and to get refreshed, renewed, and refocused. It is filled with activities for everyone to enjoy, and with workshops that provide valuable training. The evening services are life-altering as women worship, hear a powerful message and experience the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The end result is that the women are never the same again!
