The House of Prayer Ironmen Men’s Ministry is headed by Ministry Captain Fadme Payano and the leadership of the Ironmen Council. The vision of this ministry is to empower men to be leader’s in four key areas:
1. Their home 3. The church
2. Their job/business 4. The community
The Ironmen Ministry strives to be the backbone and foundation of House of Prayer Church. The ministry has an ‘Ironmen Night’ once a month to share the vision with not only the men of House of Prayer but also other men in the community. It is an awesome time of fellowship where men of all ages come together to eat different ethnic foods, listen to music, play basketball and participate in many other activities. Best of all Pastor Joseph Perea, along with other guest speakers, delivers powerful messages and teachings that share the vision and helps empower every man present.
The Ironmen Ministry has experienced fun and exciting events such as boat trips on the beautiful waters of Tampa Bay and a ‘BBQ Cook-Off’ where the winner won a brand new grill. It has also hosted basketball tournaments in which men from all over the Tampa community participated. Some of our upcoming events include a 2-day, 1 night getaway trip and a bowling night. God is stirring a movement in the men of House of Prayer. As the Ironmen Ministry continues to grow, it will strive to keep reaching out and sharing the vision with more and more men in the Tampa Bay area and help them become great leaders for the Kingdom of God.
